This year Holi was not just exciting for hoomans but also for the pooches, as they celebrated the colourful festival with fellow pets in an exciting event that was held in the city. A gourmet pet bakery called Bow Wow Chow run by Shweta Rao organised a Holi pool party exclusively for the fur babies at the Pet's Hangover Resort located in Undri. Run by Riya Sayaji, the place had everything to make sure that the pets have the most amount of fun during the event. From Thandai specially made for the dogs to some delicious treats, the party had some pawsome edibles like pawcakes, chicken liver samosas, chicken and veggie meatballs, chicken and spinach waffles and much more. Dogs gobbled up the entire lot. Holi parties are incomplete without colour but the pet's safety is equally important. To make this colour event safe for the pets, pet-friendly colours by Monks Bouffe were used. The pet parents enjoyed the festival with non-toxic and organic colours made exclusively for pets. Shweta expresses that she was delighted to see so many pets and pet parents together after a long time. "It was exhilarating to see all the dogs and their parents having a gala time at this one of a kind Holi party for pets. To personally be able to see the fur kids gobble up my treats and guzzle down the doggy thandai was so special and heartwarming," says Shweta who plans on organising many more such events in the upcoming days as this year looks very promising. Apart from food and pet-friendly colours, the event had a special stall that displayed a variety of pet accessories like bandanas, bowties, keychains, dog tags etc., and was a hit among the pet parents. It was Ashima Grover who had set up the stall called Dabba for Tails. Everyone left with a lovely hamper with goodies, a customised accessory and a doggy toy from the organising team. The event was managed and coordinated by Barkha Adwani from F9 events.
